  • Refractive care focuses on correcting vision problems like nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. This includes services such as eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions and other vision correction procedures to improve visual acuity.

  • Cataracts refer to the clouding of the eye's natural lens, causing blurry vision and visual impairment. Cataract surgery involves the removal of the cloudy lens and its replacement with an artificial intraocular lens, restoring clear vision.

  • Dry eyes occur when the eyes don't produce enough tears or have poor tear quality, leading to discomfort, redness, and irritation. Dry eye treatment aims to alleviate symptoms and improve tear production and quality.

  • Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that can damage the optic nerve, leading to vision loss if left untreated. Treatment options include eye drops, medications, laser therapy, or surgical procedures to manage intraocular pressure and prevent further damage.

  • Diabetic retinopathy is a complication of diabetes that damages blood vessels in the retina, potentially causing vision loss. Care for diabetic retinopathy includes regular eye exams, laser treatment, or injections to manage and prevent further damage.

  • Macular degeneration affects the central part of the retina (macula) and can result in a loss of central vision. Management may include dietary changes, vitamins, medications, and in some cases, anti-VEGF injections or laser therapy to slow its progression.

  • Floaters are tiny specks or threads that appear in your field of vision, while flashers are brief flashes of light. These can be caused by changes in the vitreous gel inside the eye and may warrant an eye exam to rule out more serious conditions.

  • Blepharitis is an inflammation of the eyelid margins, often causing redness, itching, and flaky or crusted eyelids. Treatment may include warm compresses, eyelid hygiene, and medications to relieve symptoms and prevent recurrence.

"Your eyes are your windows to the world; take good care of them, for without vision, the world is but a shadow."
- George Bernard Shaw
